Massive Fire Tears Through Baltimore Building

Baltimore firefighters responded to a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in the Charles North neighborhood early Wednesday.

The fire started at about 4:30 a.m. in the building at West 22nd Street and Maryland Avenue and quickly spread to the point that flames were shooting out of the roof.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, but it took over 100 firefighters to control.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
